Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing an electrode, the method enabling formation of burrs in a current collector layer to be suppressed.SOLUTION: The method for manufacturing an electrode is provided that includes a cutting step of cutting a belt-like body 40 in which active material layers 41, 43 are formed on one surface and the other surface of a metal foil 42, respectively. In the cutting step, while irradiating one surface 40c of the belt-like body 40 with laser beams LB, the belt-like body 40 is cut by applying cooling fluid F toward an irradiation part of the laser beams LB in the belt-like body 40 from the other surface 40d side of the belt-like body 40.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
