Abstract:
To provide a method and apparatus for stably manufacturing an extra fine wire having a diameter of ≤20 μm in which foreign matters are mixed without breaking it.
During performing ordinary drawing with a hole die, the foreign matter mixed in the moving wire rod is detected, only when the foreign matters are detected, drawing resistance is reduced by vibrating the hole die in the axial direction of the wire rod. After the foreign matter mixing part is passed through, by stopping the vibration of the hole die and returning to the ordinary drawing, the wire rod is drawn into the extra fine wire having the diameter of ≤20 μm.
