The method for manufacturing flux for cream solder comprises a step of heating and melting flux mainly consisting of a base resin component, the thixotropic agent, an activator, and a solvent, a step of developing the molten flux for surface cooling by bringing the molten flux into contact with a cooling circumferential surface of a rotary transfer body having the circumferential surface cooled at a low temperature, and a step of taking out the transferred and cooled flux.
