Abstract:
To provide a method and an apparatus for manufacturing metal parts having high mechanical strength at high dimensional accuracy and at a low cost and to provide the metal parts manufactured by them.
The top part 13a of a working tool 13 having an open hole 13b of a predetermined shape in the top part is pressed to the surface of a metal material 11 to be worked, the metal material 11 to be worked and the working tool 13 are rotated relatively in the opposite direction to generate frictional heat, and the plastic flow into the open hole 13b is generated by the frictional heat.
