Abstract:
To provide a method and an apparatus for mainly manufacturing the seamless tube of a heavy-load material in a rolling line using a mandrel mill.
This method is provided with a stage for measuring bend in the longitudinal direction of a hollow tube stock which is obtained by piercing, a stage for positioning the center of an induction heating device in the center of the hollow tube stock based on this measured value, a stage for heating the hollow tube stock with the induction heating device after the positioning stage a stage for rolling the heated hollow tube stock with the mandrel mill.
