Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and an apparatus capable of accurately measuring actual stress-distortion characteristics in a high-speed tension region.
SOLUTION: At least two markers Mg1 and Mg2, corresponding to reference marks are added to a test piece W. The distances between the markers Mg1 and Mg2 and shape changes during test are photographed by photographing devices 21a and 21b, to perform noncontact measurements on the cross-sectional areas of the test piece W and the distances between the reference marks at each moment, and, with load detection data of the same time, actual stress-distortion characteristics are determined.
