Abstract:

PURPOSE: To simply and accurately measure a pressure in a pressure vessel.
CONSTITUTION: The apparatus for measuring a pressure of a hot isotropic pressurizer comprises a pressure vessel 2, and a piston 3 slidably engaged within the vessel 2 through a packing 5 to introduce high pressure gas into the vessel 2 and to press to pressurize the piston 3 to treat a material to be treated in the vessel 2 under high pressure at a high temperature. A strain meter 17 for measuring a pressure in the vessel 2 by its strain is adhered to the piston 3, and correcting means 20 for correcting by subtracting a resistance of the packing from a measured value of the meter 17 at the time of pressing the piston 3 and adding the resistance of the packing to the measured value of the meter 17 at the time of retracting the piston 3 is provided.
