Title:
METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR METERING FLOW RATE OF TWO-COMPONENT EMITTING APPARATUS
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3179543
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To keep the vol. or mass relation between two components even at intermittent operation by keeping the pressure of a liquid material passing through a dispenser when the flow of the material passing through the dispenser is stopped as a function of pressure at a time of steady flow.
CONSTITUTION: A two-component mixing and metering distribution apparatus 10 consists of a hot-melt applicators 12, 14, metering pumps 16, 18 and a dispenser 20. The molten polymer material guided from the applicator 12 is supplied from the pump 16 through a conduit 30 and a pneumatic solenoid valve 32. A main or high vol. polymer material is supplied to a pneumatic solenoid valve 36 from the pump 18 through a conduit 34. The pressure on the charging side of the dispenser 20 is set so as to obtain a steady flow state such that two components are mixed to be weighed and distributed through the dispenser 20. When the flow control valves 32, 36 are closed and flow control valves 52, 52' are opened to stop the flow of the material through the dispenser 20, pressure adjusting means 54, 54' are regulated so that the pressure at the inlet of the dispenser 20 is held to the pressure in the steady flow state.
