To provide a method for molding a resin molding which prevents the degradation of the following performance of a blow-molded article to the inner wall of a mold while planning the foaming of a foamable resin by the enlargement of a cavity based on the movement of a mold.
The molten foamable resin 70 is supplied into the blow-molded article 41 in the mold 4. After that, the cavity 27 is enlarged on the basis of the movement of the mold 4. The blow-molded article 41 is expanded on the basis of foaming by the molten foamable resin 70. Before the enlargement of the cavity 27 based on the movement of the mold 4, on the basis of the mold 4, in the blow-molded article 41, one part region on the side different from the side enlarging the cavity 27 is retracted inside the blow-molded article 41 from the other part region on the same side to form a retracted part 41a in the blow-molded article 41. When the cavity 27 is enlarged on the basis of the movement of the mold 4, the retracted part 41a is expanded so that it follows the inner wall of the mold 4 exactly.
