Abstract:
To provide a method for moving an excavator which facilitates movement and setting of the excavator without building scaffolding when work is executed on a sloping surface, and to provide an apparatus for moving the excavator.
A guide rail 10 is arranged on a protective frame in a sloping direction, and fixed to the protective frame by means of detachable rail fixtures 20. Then, the excavator 40 is upward/downward moved on the guide rail 10, and fixed to the guide rail 10 at a predetermined location by means of an excavator fixture. If the protective frame is widthwise long, a plurality of transverse rails are arranged under the guide rail 10, whereby the guide rail 10 is moved along the transverse rails.
