Abstract:
PURPOSE: To convert a movie film picture into a high quality video signal by driving a light targeting board by a control unit through a motor and controlling the intensity of an optical cone formed by focusing the light from a light source through a condenser lens. CONSTITUTION: The light source for converting a movie film picture into a high quality video signal is controlled by the control unit. Light projected from a 300 WXe lamp 208 is focused through an infrared and visual filter 306, plural dichroic filters 307 to 309, a condenser lens 310, and the light targeting board 245 and then made incident upon an integration globe 240 as diffused light. A microstep drive 254 controls the movement of a stepper motor 252 based on a control pulse generated from the unit 110 and positions the board 245. The intensity of light projected through the board 245 can be controlled by the positioning.
