To provide a small-sized optical molding apparatus at low cost.
An exposure head 23 is formed by preparing a number of blue color LED, connecting an optical fiber to each of them, and disposing a GRIN lens at the distal end of these optical fibers. The exposure head 23 can form images with respect to the image at the distal end face of each optical fiber on the exposure range 24 of photosetting resin as ant optical spot. Although the diameter of the optical spot 55 is 0.5 mm for example, the size of pixels 71 within the exposure region 24 is by far small, e.g. 62.5 μm. Thus, a number of optical fibers on the exposure head 23 are arranged in a matrix displaced in staggered relation in order for each optical spots 55 to be arranged at a pitch of 62.5 μm of the pixel 71 in the major scanning direction (Y axis). While scanning the exposure range 24 with the exposure head 23 in the ancillary scanning (X axis) direction, a multiple exposure is conducted by making all optical spots 'ON' capable of lightening the pixels relative to individual pixels 71 to be exposed within the exposure region 24.
