Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for optimizing the density of a cross winding where working units each have a device for detecting the length of a thread taken up around a package, a device for determining the diameter of a winding package and a thread tension adjuster.SOLUTION: A cross winding package 6 is characterized in that, when a diameter with a predetermined actual diameter of the cross winding package 6 is obtained in the case where a presettable thread length is obtained, a wound thread length is confronted with a corresponding value of the cross winding package 6 wound in another working unit 4 of a cross winding automatic winder to apply adjustment action on the thread tension adjuster of the working unit 4 on the basis of a correction coefficient obtained from the value of a deviation of the cross winding package 6 from the corresponding value of the cross winding package 6 wound in another working unit of the cross winding automatic winder when the deviation of the cross winding package 6 exceeds a critical value.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
