Abstract:
To prevent the vicinity of a filed portion of a paper bundle from deforming when aligning the width of the bundle for filing, resulting in the formation of the paper bundle having its flatness lost.
An apparatus is controlled, so that when sheets of paper S are arranged by a pair of filing means 700 consisting of a first filing means 701 and a second filing means 702 provided at two positions in the widthwise direction of the sheet of a paper mount 71, the first filing means 701 is activated for the first filing, then a first width aligning member 73 is slightly opened in the widthwise direction of the sheet, and thereafter the second filing means 702 is activated for the second filing.
