Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and an apparatus for power scaling for multi-carrier wireless terminals.SOLUTION: A method comprises the steps of: selecting at least one carrier from a plurality of carriers on the basis of a power measurement metric on a condition that total WTRU transmit power exceeds a predetermined value; and applying power scaling to at least one channel of the selected carrier until the total WTRU transmit power meets at least the predetermined value.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 6A
