PURPOSE: To prepare rubber melt effectively and economically by a mechanism wherein rubber is supplied to a screw type extruder and molten and decomposed under a specified temperature condition.
CONSTITUTION: Crushed rubber material 9 is thrown into a hopper 2 of a screw type extruder and transferred to a section C1 corresponding to a feed portion A and a compression portion B of a screw 1. After the said material 9 is heated to about 300°C, the heated material is transferred to a section C2 corresponding to a compression portion B and a decomposition portion C and, by heating to 400W 500°C, molten and decomposed. Subsequently, after strong shear force is applied in a shearing portion C', said material is introduced to an emitting portion D having a cooling cylinder 6 to cool below 250°C and emitted from an outlet 3.
