Abstract:
PURPOSE: To permit change of a roll at a high speed by providing a cutting edge part and a perforating part on the starting portion of a web in a state that a cutting and adhesive application device is close to a replacement web roll and a starting portion of the web is delivered.
CONSTITUTION: A device movable to a position where it comes close to a web roll 4 to be printed is supported by a roll change support frame. Then, a blade beam 7 and an adhesive application plate 12 are juxtaposed on an upper surface 61 of base frame 6 thereof where a web 41 of a replacement roll 4 is placed. The blade beam 7 has a cutting blade 8 and a perforating blade 9, and a cutting edge part and a perforating part vertically on the web 41 by the beam 7 together with a crimping device 10 liftably arranged thereon. Furthermore, a plate 12 has a groove 13 for holding adhesive, the adhesive is adhered on an edge part of the web 41 by the groove 13 together with a crimping roller 14 and an adhesive application roller 15 liftably arranged thereon.
