Abstract:
To prevent the outflow of a fluid raw material outside a form during press molding.
In press molding in which a fluid raw material 5 is surrounded by a form 4 and pressed by an upper mold 2 on a lower mold base to be molded, an elastomer 42 set in the form 4 is pressed to the lower mold base 1, deformed elastically, and press-molded by the upper mold 2 with the deformed elastomer 42 brought into contact with the side part 2A of the upper mold and the surface 1B of the lower mold base.
