Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and apparatus for prevention of dust adhesion, in which dust adhesion is prevented in an exhaust-gas duct connected to an ash-melting furnace, and preclude occurrence of clogging of the duct.
SOLUTION: Air is injected in a horizontal duct 7 in the direction of the exhaust gas passing from the dust scraper 10 to cool and solidify the dust in the exhaust gas. The cooled solidified dust is removed by a dust scraper 10.
