Abstract:
The method is designed to mix together fresh and stored butter in such a manner that the stored butter is uniformly distributed within the fresh butter. Furthermore, the mixing ratio is to be adjustable so that uniform quality of the butter is guaranteed. In accordance with the method according to the invention, small pieces of stored butter are fed to the butter grain composition by comminution of a block. In order to do this, the churning machine is equipped with a comminution device (13) assigned to the first pressing-off device (10). Continuous feeding of a block to be comminuted is guaranteed by an advancing device installed upstream of the comminution device (13). …The present invention and the churning machine employing it are suitable for all types of butter. ……
