To provide a production method by which a cloth expressing various kinds of three-dimensional shapes is produced in a short time by using a production apparatus having a comparatively simple structure.
A warp yarn 2 is held by a groove at the tip of a rod 33a by lifting the rod 33a, and the rod 33a is lifted to a prescribed position while keeping the state. Similarly, the warp yarn 2 is held by the groove at the tip of a rod 53a by lowering the rod 53a, and the rod 53a is lowered until the weft yarn 3 abuts on the warp yarn 2 while keeping the state. The intersection 4 of the warp yarn 2 and the weft yarn 3 is held by the rod 33a and the rod 53a. An ultrasonic vibration is applied to the rods 33a and 53a to thermally fuse the warp yarn 2 and the weft yarn 3 at the intersection 4. The action is repeated while moving a driven actuator 31 in the right direction one by one, and at the same time, changing the displaced distance of the rod 33 in the Z-axis direction, and finally the whole intersections 4 of the warp yarns 2 and the weft yarns 3 are bonded.
