To provide a method for producing a lengthy toothed endless belt which has an optional number of teeth and no joint simply and in an optional number of mandays and an apparatus for the method.
In the method and the apparatus for producing a lengthy toothed endless belt, two pairs of flat pulleys 3a, 3c, 3b, 3d which are rotated integrally are arranged on both sides of a pair of toothed molds 2a, 2b, a core wire 1c is wound onto these pulleys to form core-wire fitting parts 4a, 4b, with the use of the fitting parts 4a, 4b, the core wire 1c is wound spirally between the molds 2a, 2b to form a belt constituent 9, and a molten thermoplastic elastomer 5 is packed between the mold 2a and a steel band 6 and rotated in a molten state to form a tooth shape.
