CONSTITUTION: The present invention relates to an apparatus for continuously producing mold charge blanks for a molding process which comprises a creel assembly 21 for laying a plurality of layers of a fibrous mat M for forming molding sheets C1 and C2 for the fibrous mat M, a cutting mechanism 25 which cuts the molding sheets C1 and C2 into the mold charge blanks of desired sizes, a conveyor which moves the mold charge blanks through an oven for controlled heating thereof, a shuttle assembly which moves the mold charge blanks from the conveyor to a press 30 and the press 30 which conducts molding of the mold charge blanks.
