To provide a method for producing a ultra-thin sheet-like absorber efficiently without troubles such as the scattering of water-absorbent resin powder.

In the method for producing the sheet-like absorber, the water-absorbent resin powder is bonded/fixed between a first nonwoven fabric sheet and a second nonwoven fabric sheet. After an adhesive is applied on one surface of each of a first nonwoven fabric sheet continuum and the second nonwoven fabric sheet, the adhesive layer of the first nonwoven fabric sheet continuum and the adhesive layer of a second nonwoven fabric sheet continuum are supplied into an electrostatic field while being faced each other, and the resin powder is supplied to the gap between the adhesive layers so that the powder is adhered to each adhesive. After that, the first nonwoven fabric sheet continuum and the second nonwoven fabric sheet continuum are press-bonded to each other by rolls.
