METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR PRODUCING SLAKED LIME AQUEOUS SOLUTION

PURPOSE: To enhance the production efficiency of a slaked lime aqueous solution and to miniaturize an apparatus by providing a slaked lime fluidized bed high suppressing device in a slaked lime dissolving tank and filling the slaked lime dissolving tank with water and slaked lime in succession and supplying water to said tank in a specific flow rate under low speed stirring.
CONSTITUTION: After a dissolving tank 1 equipped with inclined plates 5 as a slaked lime bed high suppressing device is filled with water up to a level of about 2/3, slaked lime in a slaked lime charging hopper 7 stirred by a stirring blade 3 is supplied as a powder (or slurry) through a rotary valve 10. At this time, water is sprinkled from the water spray nozzle 11 of a slaked lime powder collector 12 to prevent the scattering of a slaked lime powder. Next, water is supplied from a water supply pipe 2 and the supply of water is stopped on the basis of the output of a level control meter 9 and, after the supply of water is stopped, stirring and sedimentation are performed for a predetermined time to homogenize a slaked lime slurry. Subsequently, water is again supplied from the water supply pipe 2 in an amount bringing a water rising speed to 0.25-1.2mm/sec to take out a slaked lime aqueous solution from a taking-out pipe 6 under low speed stirring.
