To provide a method and an apparatus for producing multiaxial three- dimensional woven fabric to make the product of the three-dimensional woven fabric high density.

The method for producing the three-dimensional woven fabric comprises a step for forming a laminate LB of four axial yarns having a desired thickness, and a vertical yarn-stitching step for sewing a vertical yarn Z from one face LBa side in the laminating direction of the laminate LB of the four axial yarns by stitching. The step for forming the laminate LB of the four axial yarns involves laminating each two or more layers of warp yarn layers, weft yarn layers and pairs of bias yarn layers by using warp yarns X, weft yarns Y and pairs of bias yarns B1 and B2. The three-dimensional woven fabric is constituted by the stitching of the vertical yarns Z to fix the warp yarns X, weft yarns Y and the pair of the bias yarns B1 and B2.
