To obtain a method for producing a tire which prevents the local generation of elongation, wrinkles, etc., in an unvulcanized inner liner and can reduce the repair of the unvulcanized inner liner and a raw tire and the generation of scraps and an apparatus for the method.

The inner liner 20 which is molded into a thin sheet by a calender 12 is taken up on a take-up roll 22 with a silicone liner 30. Since the inner liner 20 with rigidity reduced is reinforced by the silicone liner 30 and handled, the local generation of elongation and wrinkles in the inner liner 20 can be prevented. Since the silicone liner 30 has good mold release properties, the inner liner 20 can be separated smoothly from the silicone liner 30 so that the generation of elongation and wrinkles in the inner liner 20 can be prevented. As a result, the repair of the inner liner 20 and the raw tire and the generation of scraps can be reduced.
