To provide a production method and a production apparatus that can be automated, can exactly develop a white pattern on a product (bread) surface on a desired position and can develop a stabilized baking color without uneven baking on the part baked with an oven.
A thermally conductive plate into which an insertable material having an arbitrary shape is inlaid is heated and brought into contact with the surface of a product or lightly pressed thereto whereby a white pattern-spaced oven-baked product is obtained. In this method, the surface to be pressed to a product is made same face as that of the thermally conductive plate, thereby the white space pattern and the oven-baked part become a same face. When the pressing face of the insertable material having the arbitrary shape is projected more than the pressing face of the thermal conductive plate, the white-spaced pattern can be sunk from the oven-baked part. The apparatus for producing the white pattern-spaced oven-baked product comprises a heater, the thermally conductive plate having a through hole of an arbitrary shape and is closely attached to the heater and the insertable material having the same shape as that of the through hole.
