Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and an apparatus for production of high-purity natural rubber using cup lump which can reduce the amount of foreign matter in natural rubber while suppressing decrease of the molecular weight of natural rubber and does not cause deterioration of the dry efficiency and a high-purity natural rubber obtained by the method and apparatus.SOLUTION: A method of producing high-purity natural rubber includes a crushing step of crushing natural rubber containing foreign matter to obtain crushed rubber and a removal step of removing foreign matter adhered to the crushed rubber obtained. In the crushing step, natural rubber is divided finely to grain sizes of 3 mm cube. When the removal step is carried out after or simultaneously with the crushing step, a drying step of drying the crushed rubber after the removal step is carried out.
