PURPOSE: To make the work simple and to improve efficiency in punching and bending works of an external plate of a door panel by punching and bending a pair of external plates, inside and outside, connectively through a press mechanism.
CONSTITUTION: Punching is controlled so that punching edges 8 at bilateral symmetric position punch bilateral symmetric holes in an external plate A at every descent of a punch plate 5, and punching edges of saymmetric position actuate alternately one by one. External plates with the backside coated with adhesive facing upward are taken out one by one and supplied continuously to a press device. The supplied external plate is placed on a specified position of the lower die 17 by a positioning device. Then, a main hydraulic cylinder works to lower the punch plate 5 and upper and lower end dies are brought into contact by pressure. At this time, specified punching work is made on the external plate A by a punching edge 8. Further, periphery is bent upward by the upper die 15 and bending die 19 to form a box-shaped external plate A.
