To provide a method for recycling an asphalt pavement waste material, wherein the potential heat of high-temperature exhaust gas led out from a deodorizing furnace is effectively utilized for the hot-bath disintegration of the waste material, and an apparatus for recycling it.

A deodorizing furnace 12 for burning and decomposing malodor constituents in the exhaust gas is arranged on the downstream side of an exhaust gas duct 8 of a waste material dryer 1, and a heat exchanger 16 is provided midway through an exhaust gas duct 14 of the deodorizing furnace 12. Piping is installed in the heat exchanger 16 via a water supply pipe 17; and the heat of water for supply in the pipe 17 is exchanged for that of the high-temperature exhaust gas from the deodorizing furnace 12, so that the water can be heated to a predetermined temperature; and asphalt constituents in the waste material are softened and melted by bathing the waste material with the hot water obtained by heating, so that the waste material can be disintegrated by weakening a binding force.
