Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable a plate material to be recycled for a repeated use and to enable a plate recycling time to be shortened, and particularly to enable a time for cracking removing an organic compound by illuminating the compound with an active light.
SOLUTION: A method for recycling a printing plate material for recycling the printing plate material 5 comprises the ink removing process (d) of removing an ink adhered to a surface of the material 5, an image hysteresis erasing process (e) of illuminating a surface of a photosensitive layer of the material 5 in which the ink is removed by the process (d) with the active light and heating the surface of the photosensitive layer and hydrophilizing the overall surface of the photosensitive layer by heating the surface of the layer to erase the image hysteresis on the surface of the layer, and the organic compound supply process (a) of supplying an organic compound to the surface of the layer in which the image hysteresis is erased in the erasing step.
