Abstract:
PURPOSE: To make a corrected data, by subtracting the approximations to the straight lines of transient index noise from the magnitude of the digital samples in every digital sample, and getting the magnitude of the current and the voltage. CONSTITUTION: A microprocessor 31 within a distance measuring relay 15 controls a multiplexer 27 by control signals 33, and supplies an A/D converter 29 with analog signals one by one at a speed of generating a plurality of digital samples of each of a current and voltage at the points of time of equal intervals in each power sample. The A/D converter 29 forms the instantaneous-value digital samples of the current and the voltage. The microprocessor 31 lightens the influence of transient index noise by processing the digital samples. Then, a transmission line 19 is broken from a generator 17 by operating a breaker 21 by a trip signal 53.
