Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and an apparatus for removing fish bones, chips or the like (hereinafter, called foreign matter) incorporated in dried fish shaving formed by shaving the dried bonito, dried mackerel or the like.
SOLUTION: A vibration apparatus is provided in which many pieces of long and narrow members are horizontally placed in order with a certain interval to form a separation body, the next separation body is arranged forward in the transportation direction with the difference in level, the separation bodies are provided similarly in desirable stages and the dried fish shaving is transported on the a separation bodiesds while making the foreign matter incorporated in the dried fish shaving fall down from the gaps between the long and narrow members by vibrating the separation bodies. An air spouting unit for spouting air is provided below the separation bodies to float the dried fish shaving on the separation bodies. Cylindrical separation bodies also formed by arranging in a ring-manner many pieces of the long and narrow members with a certain interval and having a housing space for housing the dried fish shaving inside are rotated by a rotary mechanism.
