Title:
METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR REMOVING MAGNETIC POWDERY PARTICLES IN MATRIX PART
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPS58219912
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To remove magnetic powdery particles adhered to a matrix simply and certainly, by a method wherein a matrix made of an amorphous metal magnetic material is excited by an electromagnetic coil and a high gradient magnetic field is formed to impart vibration to the matrix.

CONSTITUTION: At the time of usual operation, a current is supplied to an electromagnetic coil 10 while a fluid having magnetic powdery particles suspended therein is supplied to a container 3 from a supply pipe 8 and discharged to a discharge pipe 2 through matrices 8. The magnetic powdery particles are adhered to matrices 8 by magnetical coercive force. In removing adhered particles, the supply of the fluid and the supply of a current to the coil 10 are stopped. Subsequently, a high frequency current or a current required in electrostriction is supplied to a vibrator 9 and the matrices 8 are vibrated through a vibration plate 7 to desorb the adhered particles. In addition, washing water is supplied into the container 3 from the side of the supply pipe 1 to be discharged to the side of the discharge pipe 2.
