Abstract:
PURPOSE: To reduce the stress amplitude of a torsion bar by providing link mechanisms revolving both of the rotary shaft of a rear pawl and the rotary shaft of a surface pawl and one torsion bar held in common by both mechanisms.
CONSTITUTION: Revolving devices 31a, 31b are revolved around support shafts 35 and torsion bars 39 and the revolving quantity of cam followers 40 is increased over two stages. A synchronizing method due to the difference between the flucrums on levers 38a, 38b, the positions of cam followers 40a, 40b and the shapes of links 36a, 36b is employed. Since a synchronizing device due to a pair of gears is provided between the lever having the cam follower of the revolving device of a rear pawl shaft and the end of the rear pawl shaft of the torsion bar in order to sychronously twist both ends of the torsion bar in a direction dividing initial torsion, drive force is always transmitted to a pair of the gears only in one direction and the backlash of the gears generated by reciprocal revolution and the shift revolution due to the abrasion of the gears are not generated.
