Abstract:
To easily work various sizes of ampules by improving an apparatus and method for sealing an ampule with laser beam.
The apparatus for sealing an ampule 2 with a laser beam has a device 20 for generating at least one laser beam 15. The laser beam 15 is arranged to be movable up and down so that ampules 2 with various sizes and shapes can be worked by heating their head parts with the laser beam 15. The area 3 to be heated with the laser beam 15 is always nearly equal to the diameter of the area to be heated of ampule 2.
