Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide a method for simultaneous application of impact pressure and irradiation with light, and an apparatus therefor.
CONSTITUTION: A method (1) for simultaneous application of impact pressure irradiation and with light wherein the impact pressure generated by impact waves caused by an explosive is applied to a sample 10 in a capsule and light is applied to the sample 10 at the same time with the loading through a light inductive path 14 from a direction being different from the loading direction of the impact pressure and the light inductive path 14 is shut immediately by the impact pressure, is provided. An apparatus (2) for simultaneous application of the impact pressure and irradiation with the light which is constituted of explosive lenses 1 and 2 generating the impact wave, the capsule 5 transmitting and applying the impact pressure caused by the impact wave to the sample 10 therein, a light generating part 13, the light inductive path 14 for applying the light generated from the light generating part to the sample 10 in the capsule, is provided.
