To provide a method and apparatus for preventing seizure, scoring and heat check at casing by spraying a release agent on a metal mold surface and at the same time adding residual stress by ejecting fine cubes made of metal or the like thereon.
A release agent 20, water 25, air 28 or an injection material 33, which is at least one of fine cubes selected from the groups consist of metal, ceramics and glass, is sprayed as a single substance or a mixture from a spray nozzle 17 on an injecting part 16 going in and out between a fixed metal mold 11 and a movable mold 13 (cavity part 15) at an open state. The release agent 20 is applied on the cavity face of both metal molds 11, 13 and at the same time injection material 33 is injected. Release agent 20, water 25, air 28 and spraying material 33 are mixed in mixing valve 19.
