Abstract:
To provide a means constituted so as to simply kill pathogenic bacteria living in warm water, which can not be realized by another means, without changing the quality of the warm water.
Minute cavitation air bubbles are produced in a warm water by irradiating the warm water with ultrasonic waves to destruct pathogenic bacteria. Even when chlorine is together used in disinfection, residual chlorine is removed by utilizing the degassing action of ultrasonic waves to prevent the occurrence of an offensive chlorine smell in a bathtub. By this constitution, effective sterilization producing no offensive chlorine smell becomes possible without being affected by pH and the turbidity of the warm water.
