A minute clearance by the knurling working is formed between the peripheral surface of the small diameter roller 2 and the ribbon-shaped rubber piece 9. Air is ejected in the tangent direction of the peripheral surface of the small diameter roller 2 from the nozzle of an air blow means 4 to make the air pass through the minute clearance. The ribbon-shaped rubber piece held on the peripheral surface of the small diameter roller 2 is peeled off by the air ejected from the nozzle 4.
