Abstract:
To provide a method and apparatus for storing multimedia data in a nonvolatile storage device in units of blocks.
The method for storing multimedia data in the nonvolatile storage device in units of blocks includes receiving the multimedia data, sequentially storing the received multimedia data in a block in which all pages are empty among blocks included in the nonvolatile memory, and searching in the nonvolatile memory for a fragmented block in which some pages occupied by data constitute a part of the blocks in the memory and moving the pages of the fragmented block to another block.
