To provide a method of supplying lubricating oil in cold rolling which is excellent in the responsiveness of the supply control of the lubricating oil and by which high-quality products without seizure marks are manufactured.

The method of supplying the lubricating oil is provided by which the undiluted solution of the lubricating oil whose fusing point is ≥20°C is supplied to the inlet side of the roll bite, the lubricating oil is supplied in the state of liquid by installing heating devices 23, 27 in a lubricating oil tank 20 and on a lubricating oil supply pipe 24 and the quantity of the oil to the roll bite is controlled by temperature control in accordance with the coefficient of friction and forward slip. Further, a sheet shape is also controllable by performing temperature control in the width direction on the basis the output from a sheet shape detecting device by arranging a plurality of lubricating oil nozzles 32 in the width direction.
