Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for treating incineration plant waste water, at the sand filtration step of which a biofouling problem can be solved efficiently by inexpensive means, and to provide an apparatus for treating the incineration plant waste water.SOLUTION: The method for treating the incineration plant waste water comprises: a flocculation step of adding a flocculant to the incineration plant waste water, which is discharged from a waste incineration plant, to produce a flocculated product; a precipitation step of precipitating/separating the flocculated product produced at the flocculation step; a sand filtration step of subjecting the separated water, which is obtained by separating the flocculated product precipitated at the precipitation step, to sand filtration; and a reverse osmosis membrane treatment step of treating a filtrate, which is obtained at the sand filtration step, with a reverse osmosis membrane. The method for treating the incineration plant waste water is characterized in that reverse pressure cleaning is performed on a filter medium, which is used at the sand filtration step, by using cleaning water, which is prepared by adding a chlorine-based disinfectant to industrial water and/or tap water, and the waste water, which is generated when the filter medium is cleaned, is mixed in the incineration plant waste water.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
