Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress the detachment or fine pulverization of the photoconductor caused by friction of a photoconductor and to enhance the light reception and light contact properties to facilitate solid-liquid separation in an apparatus and method for treatment of a fluidized bed system.
SOLUTION: A liquid 18 is supplied into a treatment tank 12 from a liquid supply port 44 and jet air 22 is sent into a constricted rising passage 24N from below. Photoconductor particles 20 are transferred to the upper part of the treatment tank in a sheet like state with respect to the black light 32 within the liquid by the jet air and the liquid containing the photoconductors are allowed to flows in an expanded sedimentation region 26W through a communication part 34A to accelerate the empty wt. of the photoconductor particles and a part of the liquid is discharged and the remainder thereof is again guided to the lower part of the restricted rising passage along with the photoconductor particles subjected to empty wt. sedimentation by an inclined plate 40. The photoconductor particles during rising restricted rising passage and falling through the expanded sedimentation region are irradiated with light and org. matter in the liquid is decomposed by redox action developed by photoconductor particles.
