To provide a sewage treatment method capable of enhancing the quality of treated water and reducing membrane washing cost by efficiently utilizing ozone, and a treatment apparatus capable of efficiently adapting this sewage treatment method.
In a sewage treatment method wherein sewage 1 is biologically treated to be subjected to solid-liquid separation treatment by a solid-liquid separation device and a flocculant 6 is added to the transmitted liquid from the solid-liquid separation device to be reacted therewith under an acidic condition and the sedimentation separation of the reacted liquid is performed in a sedimentation separation tank 9 and an alkali agent 7 is added to the obtained supernatant liquid to perform neutralization treatment and the neutralized liquid is further subjected to solid-liquid separation treatment by a membrane filter device 19, accelerated oxidation treatment is performed between a neutralization tank 10 and a circulating tank 16 or a membrane supply tank to the membrane filter device 19.
