Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide an ideal apparatus which allows the use for a method of washing a vacuum hose, a saliva ejection hose and the like mounted on a dental treatment unit and the washing thereof.
CONSTITUTION: This apparatus is mounted on a dental treatment unit and washes or disinfects the inside of a vacuum hose 13 and a saliva ejection hose 14 for discharging fouled water and liquid in an oral cavity of a patient. Washing water or disinfection liquid is stored in a spiton 3 and the washing water or the disinfection liquid stored is sucked or discharged through the vacuum hose 13 and/or the saliva ejection hose 14. The numeral 20 indicates an device to introduce washing water in the spiton 3 to the holes 13 and 14. When a lock 21 is placed at a drain port of the spiton 3, the drain port is closed to store water to be supplied from a bawl washing nozzle 3a. As the water is stored to positions of through holes 21a and 21b, it is sucked and discharged through the through holes 21a and 21b and the hoses 22 and 23 and the vacuum hose 13 and the saliva hose 14.
