To provide a drum core winding method which is capable of automatically feeding small-sized drum cores, achieves a reduced in-process defective rate and an increased operating efficiency, and has excellent productivity; and a drum core winding apparatus which has a simple structure and can be manufactured at low cost.
The drum core winding method includes: a step of intermittently feeding drum cores one by one from a drum core container in which multiple drum cores are contained in an aligned state into a guide; a step of holding flanges at both ends of a drum core between two double-acting shafts in the guide; and a step of guiding the drum core to a winding position with the flanges held between the two shafts. The method is characterized in that winding is performed by rotating the shafts with the drum core held between the two shafts at the winding position.
