Abstract:
To provide a method and apparatus for winding a metal strip capable of restraining misalignment of involute coils.
The second pinching roll 5 is provided between the first pinching roll 4 and a coiler 1. The second pinching roll can travel in the width direction of the steel strip and, in accordance with the meandering amount of the tip end portion of the steel strip 3, the meandering amount of the tip end portion of the steel strip is straightened by adjusting the position of the second pinching roll 5.
