Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and apparatus for wrapping and cutting rod-like food doughs in a rotational state in which an inner food material is enclosed in an outer covering food material.
SOLUTION: When wrapping and cutting a food dough W by a wrapping and cutting apparatus 1 equipped with a shuttering device 15 having plural openable shutter blades 13 under a nozzle equipment 11 equipped with a food dough-feeder 9 feeding the food dough W where an inner food material W1 is enclosed in an outer covering food material W2 and equipped with a conveyor 17 below the shuttering device 15, the dough W is made to rotate and a constricted part is formed in dough part to be cut by the closing operation of the shuttering blades 13. The constricted part is twisted, so that the inner food material W1 is cut by the torsion of the outer covering food material W2. The twisted part of the outer covering food material W2 is pressed from its circumference to be cut by the closing operation of the plural shuttering blades 13.
